The UK Plastics Pact - Small format packaging placed on the market

The UK Plastics Pact formed a working group within the supply chain to address the issue of recycling "small format" packaging.

However, the scale of this challenge was not fully known, as there could be billions of individual items comprising an unknown weight of the overall plastic placed on the market (POM).

WRAP commissioned our Sustainability Consultancy team to accurately quantify this unknown weight to assist the UK Plastics Pact and its members in finding feasible solutions for capturing and utilising such materials.
