We seek to gain accreditation to, and certification from, organisations that challenge our business to operate responsibly and ethically while simultaneously having a minimal impact on the environment.
Some of the accreditations and standards that we hold, and methods that we follow are listed below.
We are certified to ISO 27001 and have a robust Information Security policy which you can download here.
The ISO 27001 standard provides requirements for an information security management system (ISMS). This certificate shows the ability of Valpak to keep information assets secure. This includes the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted by third parties.
ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that sets out how companies can put in place an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). The standard enables Valpak Limited to identify and control the environmental impact of its activities and services, to continually improve its environmental performance, and to implement a systematic approach to setting environmental objectives and targets, to achieving these and to demonstrating that they have been achieved.
ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. The standard applies to the processes that create and control the products and services an organisation supplies. It prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met.
ISO 45001 provides a framework for the effective management of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), including compliance with legislation that applies to an organisation’s activities and identified hazards. It gives requirements for an OH&S management system, to enable an organisation to control its OH&S risks and improve its performance. To view this certificate, please click here.
Valpak has met the requirements of Carbon Reduce certification having measured greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with ISO 14064 Part 1 2018. Valpak is committed to managing and reducing emissions in respect of operational activities.

Valpak is an accredited Living Wage Employer.
The real Living Wage is higher than the government’s minimum wage and is an independently calculated hourly rate of pay that is based on the actual cost of living. It is calculated each year and is announced by the Living Wage Foundation as part of Living Wage Week.
This accreditation, in conjunction with Valpak’s Thrive at Work Foundation Level achievement, demonstrates a commitment to enhancing the health and wellbeing of employees.
