The objective of this textiles analysis was to determine the level of reusability and mechanical and chemical recyclability based on textile POM data, as well as to provide insight into material breakdown. The purpose of this is to help understand the scale of opportunity for textile reuse and recycling and how they can fit together, with recycling providing a supplement to reuse in the development of a circular economy for textiles.
