Modern Slavery Act and Supplier Transparency

To help our members to understand and effectively respond to the Modern Slavery Act we are hosting a FREE seminar alongside our partner, Sancroft International - experts in responsible sourcing.

The Modern Slavery Act, which came into force in 2015, affects any organisation operating within the UK that has a total turnover of £36 million or more and requires those businesses to produce a slavery and human trafficking statement for each financial year.

This seminar will:

  • provide an insight into the current trends in global supply chains and what these mean for responsible sourcing
  • introduce the Modern Slavery Act and review a selection of Slavery and Human Trafficking Statements
  • demonstrate how Valpak’s Data Management portal can manage supply chain risk, supplier data and compliance

Who should attend?

You should attend this session if you:

  • want to know more about good practice compliance with the Modern Slavery Act
  • are interested in learning about global supply chain trends
  • are considering the best way to manage social risks in your supply chain
